In addition to being the first full-time gastroenterologist in North Houston, Dr. Winston was the first to introduce endoscopy and Remicade treatment to the area. What’s more, he has made medical research one of the cornerstones of his practice, and in 1989 he founded Houston Medical Research Associates (HMRA). To date, Dr. Winston and his research team have conducted over 180 clinical studies for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
